We use the following providers. Each one receives only what it needs to provide its service. Several are located outside Quebec, mostly in the United States, where the law offers different protection than in Quebec. Before information is sent outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, and we choose providers that commit to protecting it.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to form emails and to our provider accounts is limited to the AlarmRoute staff who need it. If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people concerned, and we record every incident in a register.
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, or receive it in a commonly used format. Write to our Privacy Officer at info@alarmroute.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date.
