The AlarmRoute modem is wireless, so it does not need a wired landline to work. Many customers move to our wireless solution specifically so they can cancel their home phone service.
AlarmRoute provides alarm monitoring with GSM wireless connectivity included for $14.95 per month, compared with the national brands at $35.00 or more per month.
It makes no difference to your monitoring. The connection is wireless and does not rely on a landline or an internet connection reaching your home.
Verify first that you outright own the alarm and can close that account without penalty. If you bought your home with the system already in place, you own it, unless the listing stated the alarm belongs to the alarm company.
